26 acts consisting of 100 plus musicians will be involved in JIMNA ROCKS 2022
Live music lovers will converge on Jimna over the May long weekend of April 30th / May 1st for a weekend of camping and live music outdoors. This will be a welcomed event after the ongoing issues of having to navigate the last few years in the music industry with indoor restrictions since Covid bought about lockdowns and many restrictions to venues.
We are taking our talented artists out of venues and taking the stage outdoors immersing it in the Aussie bush
on 2.5Ha at Jimna Base Camp.
MMK Music Promotions continues to offer our young artists and musicians a platform to perform.
This gives them opportunities connecting with others in the industry which is integral in these very difficult times.
Jimna Base Camp is 2 hours Nth west of Brisbane in the Somerset Region 35km from Kilcoy.
There will be camping with all the facilities whilst supporting Local musicians and live music.
Jimna Rocks is an all ages event and family friendly. Food Vendors will be on site with all the delicious food to
keep you nourished over the weekend.
The licensed community bar will be operating overlooking the stage and camp grounds.
Funds raised from Jimna Cricket Club Bar go back to the Jimna community.
Camping is limited to 500. If you miss out on a camping ticket, day passes will be available and a
camping option available at Peach Trees National Park, 3km from Jimna Base Camp.
All tickets purchased from the bands will be guaranteed on site camping.

Day passes will be available online via moshtix in March 2022 .
Day pass holders have the option to camp offsite at Peach Tree National Park.

Tripsitta came into the music scene as a Good time that didn’t know when to stop. Their music is the sound of the counter culture that lives and breathes in the Australian Night life. Its centered around upbeat modern indie rock with an emphasis on pre drink pump up anthems with a touch of Centerlink. Whether your G’ing up the lads for a night on the town or telling stories about last nights adventures, these boys have the tracks to become your new best mate.
Since beginning in Sydney, Kallidad has grown rapidly and travelled all across the world performing their trademark mix of shredded Spanish guitar with hard rock. A powerful, easy-to-dance rhythm drives the whole spectacle as the masked mariachis unveil the intricate and powerful guitar melodies and rhythms accompanied by booming drums and percussion.
The Sydney trio’s instrumental music has taken them all around the world, with multiple tours in Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia and Europe. A career highlight was achieved in 2019 when the group performed at the world famous Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
Kallidad has released five albums and performed at major Australian festivals and events including Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival.
