After moving to Australia in 2010 with only a guitar, his short-lived diversion of climbing the corporate ladder was cut short when saving a fan's life with "Alive", a song written the morning after saving his own at 19.
Compared to John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Kaleo, and G Love, he's played major cities across the USA and Australia becoming both an accomplished performer and songwriter.
Driven by a passion for empowering others, sharing hope, and taking action, Danno lives on the road performing across the USA and Australia.

Johan Danno delivers a dynamic, entertaining, and fun live show filled with soul, hope, and infectious positive vibes. Mixing soul, folk-rock, blues, and reggae, his show is both intimate yet high energy with something for everyone to vibe with. His Solo set has Johan perform with a kick drum and harmonica and he then scales up to a 4-piece rock band or 5-piece soul funk reggae band.
Performing and living 8 years on the Gold Coast Australia, with 2 US tours and 2 Australian tours, Johan has graced stages from Melbourne (Aus) to New York, Brisbane to Nashville, from Hawaii to LA with a 3-month residency in Austin. The result is a seasoned live entertainer with a versatile live show. He has opened for major acts like G Love, Marcia Hines, Satsang, Surferblood, and more.
Performing live for over 13 years, Johan has held residencies at Restaurants, Bars, Clubs.

" Soul Rock Sunday Ceremony"
After the loss of his much loved guitar and sticker covered case through theft in 2020 Johan was giving up on music. Covid struck and added to the troubles of this self funded musician.
He found himself unable to make ends meet with many gigs being cancelled. Tough times build tough people and this gave him time to reflect and write some of his best music to date.
Through chance he was attending a festival supporting friends and was added as a late addition.
Jimna Rocks Festival saw Danno play a 45 min set. He gathered a band amongst the many talented musicians on site and this opportunity lit a spark that fuelled his fire to get back into what he had been missing , the music.
The performance at Jimna was outstanding and the accolades received from the many who attended has him excited to get back on stage and share his love of music and conscious thought with you all August 1st.
He has used his downtime wisely over the last year continuing to write from the heart and build a substantial catalogue. More music is coming !!
